ITEM IN REVIEW: Modus  1st Class Boxers

SIZE: LARGE

HOW DID THEY RIDE: Free and breezy but with enough structure to avoid a pendulum-like situation between your legs while you’re skating.

HOW DID THEY LAST: They are well made and retain their elasticity even when performing the famous waistband tuck to avoid pitching a tent. Additionally, the material feels strong and well made, kind of like those swimming shorts you get.

HOW DO THEY LOOK: The shape is akin to some form of short shorts, so they could double as bathers if you are confident with your lower thighs.

BANG FOR YOUR BUCK: Many people would assume that skate branded underwear would be over priced and unnecessary, but have you seen the price of a pair of Bonds lately? You’re looking at 10-20 bucks a piece so I’d say $14.99 to support your favourite bearing company under the belt is a bargain!

DID YOU GET ANY COMPLIMENTS WHILE YOU ROCKED THEM? “They’d look better on Barrett” – my girlfriend

WHERE DID YOU SKATE IT / WEAR IT / USE IT? Wore them around Fremantle for the day with that new underwear spring in my step.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH IT NOW? Probably about time to put them in the wash

OVERALL VIBE: For once I can look down at myself and feel proud
